Today, however, our treasure will be the stunning landscapes and the thrill of a biking adventure.

We begin with a scenic drive high into the park, where we’ll gear up for a unique mountain biking experience. The first hour of riding takes us on a steady, gradual ascent through picturesque Andean scenery. Breathe in the crisp mountain air as you pedal along lush green slopes, surrounded by dramatic peaks and valleys.

The challenge of the uphill climb is well rewarded with the excitement of a two-hour descent, a thrilling ride that drops nearly 5,000 feet in elevation. Feel the wind rush past as we wind our way down through a variety of ecosystems, from cloud forest to verdant pastures, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the Tungurahua Volcano, a majestic, active stratovolcano that has been intermittently erupting since 1999.
