The Galapagos Yacht Aqua is the ideal boat for divers and adventure seekers of all ages! It offers a unique combination of both. One-week liveaboards are offered every 14 days to the best dive sites in the archipelago. The liveaboards alternate with the naturalist cruises, which are also one week long or shorter. The yacht is thus one of the few ships that combine diving cruises with naturalist cruises. The Yacht Aqua offers room for up to 16 passengers in 9 comfortable cabins. Relax during the night in full-size double beds and during the day at the cozy solarium with loungers and stunning view when you are not on an adventurous excursion.

Upon arrival to Baltra airport your cruise guide will be waiting for you to transfer you to the cruise. Then you will visit the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center. At the exhibit corral you have great chances to photograph the tortoises as they are used to humans.

Meals: Lunch and dinner on board

AM: Visit to Dragon Hill, located in the north-western part of Santa Cruz island where you will have the opportunity to walk into the island and view the land iguana. You will also be able to see a flamingos’ lagoon, pintail ducks and other endemic birds including flycatchers and warblers. After a short trek, amazing view awaits you up the hill.

PM: You visit Sullivan Bay which is located on the east coast of Santiago Island. In this scenario we can see the contrast of landscapes of ancient and recent lava eruptions. After exploring the lava flows, you can swim or snorkel with playful sea lions.

Meals: Lunch and dinner on board

AM: On your visit to Egas Port you can spot Galapagos Hawks and Lava Lizards. Follow the trail to the coastline and observe varied fauna in tide pools and grottos and sea lions sunbathing. While snorkeling there is the possibility to spot reef sharks, turtles, rays and nice underwater formations.

PM: Chinese Hat is a volcanic cone, that forms another islet off the rocky coast of Santiago, where a small colony of Galapagos penguins has settled. This is an excellent place to learn more about volcanoes, lava bombs and lava tunnels.

Meals: Lunch and dinner on board

AM: Cruise to Rabida Island with the dark red volcanic beach. A short trail leads to a shallow green-fringed lagoon which is popular for flamingos.

PM: Cruise to Bartholomew island with its famous Pinnacle Rock. Enjoy stunning views from the summit of this extinct volcano. In the surrounding landscape you can observe penguins, pioneer plants, lava cactus. There are great possibilities for snorkeling. Under water you can spot penguins, reef sharks, rays, and great colorful fish.

Meals: Lunch and dinner on board

AM: Visit one of the largest populations of sea lions on this rocks and coral reef island. You can also observe different shore birds.

After this morning excursion you are transferred to the airport for your flight to the mainland or an optional extension.
