The Galapagos Elite Luxury Yacht reached the waters of the Galapagos Islands in June 20219 as the newest mega luxury catamaran in the islands.

The sleek, twin-hulled catamaran allows for more space per guest on board, including integrated social areas that blend indoor and outdoor designs and experiences. The spacious and comfortable suites with grand windows for panoramic ocean views are the perfect place to relax and recharge after a day spent exploring the islands.

AM: Arrival to the airport Baltra and transfer to the ship. After meet and greet with the crew you visit the Charles Darwin Station.

The Darwin research center carries out important scientific research into the preservation of the archipelago’s ecosystems and initiating a significant breeding programme in 1970 for giant tortoises. As well as accessing a wealth of information about the flora and fauna found across the islands. You will have the chance to see tortoises at all stages of their development. Having been reared in captivity, they are very accustomed to humans, so don’t miss out on getting a photo with one of these remarkable animals.

Meals: lunch and dinner on board

AM: Cruise to Genovesa Island and visit to Prince Philip´s Steps (El Barranco). You walk along a path of 1.5 km on the volcanic rocks. The second part of the trail is very delicate, so you should always stick to the route. Due to natural erosion, storm petrels often nest here. You can also observe Galapagos petrels, wooden petrels, red footed boobies and other sea birds as well as sea lions.

PM: Wet landing on Darwin Bay and walk on a short trail that leads to colonies of boobies and frigate birds. At the beach you can observe an interesting show: the frigates catching prey from other bird species of this area.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner on board

AM: Cruise to Espumilla Beach at Santiago Island. On this beach you can observe marine iguanas and Sally Lightfull Crabs that are hunted by herons. While snorkeling and swimming you can discover octopi, moray eel and shark.

Later on you visit Buccaneer Cove, a former pirates’ haven and now nesting area for sea turtles. Observe marine birds and while snorkeling tropical fish, turtles, sting-rays.

PM: On your visit to Egas Port you can spot Galapagos Hawks and Lava Lizards. Follow the trail to the coastline and observe varied fauna in tide pools and grottos and sea lions sunbathing. While snorkeling there is the possibility to spot reef sharks, turtles, rays and nice underwater formations.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner on board

AM: Cruise to Santa Cruz Island and visit to the beach Las Bachas. It is a relic of the presence of US military in Galapagos. Also, it is possible to see flamingos, Sally Lightfoot crabs, hermit crabs, black necked stilts, and whimbrels and even sea turtles.

PM: Visit to the Highlands of the island. Here you can admire the crater-like holes of the so called Twin craters, that are caused by the collapse of empty lava chambers. Walk through a landscape with ferns, wide hill and volcanoes and observe the Galapagos Giant Tortoise in its natural habitat. You can also spot mockingbirds, Bahama ducklings, White-cheeked Pintail ducklings, Darwin finches.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner on board

AM: Cruise to San Cristobal Island and excursion to Lobos Islet, the sea lion island, and observe blue-footed boobies, great frigate-birds, brown pelicans, lava gulls, common noddies, yellow warblers and small and medium ground finches. You have the possibility  to snorkel and to swim with the sea lions.

After this morning excursion you are transferred to the airport for your flight to the mainland or an optionbal extension.
