OVERVIEW

Arriving to the Galapagos in 2019, the First Class motor yacht Solaris is a fantastic option for everyone! Eleven spacious cabins (up to 26 m² per cabin) offer room for up to three passengers in each and on the main deck there are some cabins that can be used as single cabins without extra charge and of course also have a private bathroom. In total it accommodates 16 passengers.

The yacht was built in Guayaquil until the beginning of 2019 and therefore has all the amenities according to modern standards guaranteeing a comfortable, intimate and very exclusive experience. Enjoy delicious meals at the dining area and relax on the extensive sun deck.

Interesting route combinations are available from 4 to 15 days according to the Galapagos National Park regulations. During all excursions you are accompanied by a knowledgeable bilingual naturalist guide.

ITINERARY EXAMPLE: 4N/5D

AM: Arrival at San Cristobal Airport, bus ride to the port and motorized panga boat ride to Seaman Journey Catamaran.

PM: Visit to the Interpretation Center and learn about history, geology and conservation on the Galapagos Islands.

Meals: Lunch and dinner on board

AM: Visit to Gardner Bay, an important nesting area for sea turtles. The white sandy beach is perfect for relaxing and swimming. In the water you may observe even sharks. Three different finch species live here: lager-billed cactus finch, small-beaked ground finch and singing finch.

PM: Visit to Suarez Point where you can spot blue-footed boobies, albatrosses and Nazca boobies. There is a blow hole that spurts water high into the air.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner on board

AM: Visit to Cormorant Point with the largest flamingo lagoon in the islands. Observe as well other shore species such as common stilts, white-cheeked pintail ducks, etc. Enjoy the two different beaches: the “green beach” and the “flour sand beach”

PM: Visit to Post Office Bay and Baroness Lookout. Here you can find a barrel that was once used as a post box for the whaling ships. In the north of the island you can enjoy stunning views from the Baroness Lookout over the surrounding landscape, the coastline and the Palo Santo forest.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner on board

AM: You visit Sullivan Bay which is located on the east coast of Santiago Island. In this scenario we can see the contrast of landscapes of ancient and recent lava eruptions. After exploring the lava flows, you can swim or snorkel with playful sea lions.

PM: Cruise to Bartholomew island with its famous Pinnacle Rock. Enjoy stunning views from the summit of this extinct volcano. In the surrounding landscape you can observe penguins, pioneer plants, lava cactus. There are great possibilities for snorkeling. Under water you can spot penguins, reef sharks, rays, and great colorful fish.

AM: After a dinghy ride in the tranquil bay of Black Turtle Cove, you will be transferred to the airport for your national flight to the continent.
