Meals: Lunch and dinner on board

AM: Visit to Gardner Bay, an important nesting area for sea turtles. The white sandy beach is perfect for relaxing and swimming. In the water you may observe even sharks. Three different finch species live here: lager-billed cactus finch, small-beaked ground finch and singing finch.

PM: Visit to Suarez Point where you can spot blue-footed boobies, albatrosses and Nazca boobies. There is a blow hole that spurts water high into the air.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner on board

AM: Visit to Post Office Bay and Baroness Lookout. Here you can find a barrel that was once used as a post box for the whaling ships. In the north of the island you can enjoy stunning views from the Baroness Lookout over the surrounding landscape, the coastline and the Palo Santo forest.

PM: Visit to Cormorant Point with the largest flamingo lagoon in the islands. Observe as well other shore species such as common stilts, white-cheeked pintail ducks, etc. Enjoy the two different beaches: the “green beach” and the “flour sand beach”

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner on board

AM: Visit to Santa Fe island, which was formed as a result of a volcanic uplift and is inhabited by the endemic yellow-green Santa Fe iguana, Galapagos snake and rice rat. There are two main trails on the island, one that leads to a beach through a forest of tall Opuntia (prickly pear) trees and salt bushes; another that takes you into the highlands and culminates in a stunning cliff top viewpoint where Galapagos hawks can be sighted.

PM: Turtle Bay is a beautiful beach of fine white sand and nesting site for the black turtle. The clear water is excellent for snorkeling and swimming! Look out for Galapagos sea lions, marine iguanas or (seasonally) mating Pacific green turtles in the surf.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner on board

AM: El Chato is one of the reserves in the highlands of Santa Cruz that offers excellent opportunities for viewing wild tortoises in their natural habitat roaming through pastures in the agricul-tural zone and in the Tortoise Reserve. Descending through the agricultural zone into the Transition Zone where the Tortoise Reserve is located, the introduced vegetation of the farmlands is replaced by native vegetation. The pond at El Chato is surrounded by forest where short-eared owls, Darwin’s finches, Vermilion  Flycatchers, Yellow Warblers, Galapagos Rails, and Paint-billed Crakes can be seen.
