Morning – Arrival at San Cristobal Airport: Your TCC (Transit Control Card), also known as the Ingala card (US$20 per person), will be issued digitally after you complete an online form. At the airport, this digital card will be checked, and your luggage will be inspected to ensure that no non-native plant or animal species are introduced. In addition, the Galápagos National Park entrance fee (US$200) must be paid upon arrival if it has not already been paid. Your guide will meet you at the airport, help you with your luggage and take you to the ship.
After greeting the crew and captain, you will be assigned your cabins and then have your first lunch together.

Afternoon – Lobos Islet: Lobos is a small island about an hour from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. There is a small colony of blue-footed boobies and frigate birds that nest in this area. On the beach you will find many sea lions. It is also possible to see wading birds.
You will take a test dive, which will be your first underwater encounter with the sea lions and fur seals on the Galapagos Islands! Watch them as they playfully dance in front of you.
On the very first day of your dive cruise, you will begin to see the myriad and varied land formations that make up the topside of the Galapagos Islands.

Morning – Bartolomé: Located east of Santiago Island, this small island is known for its unique spear-like point. Un-der the waves you dive through, you’ll circle a rocky platform and underwater cliffs that start at 15 meters and disappear into the seabed, giving you a good chance to see pelagics. You can expect to see some of the following marine life: seahorses, whitetip reef sharks, reef fish (in-cluding large schools of hunting yellowfin surgeonfish), barracuda, turtles, mobula rays, sting-rays, scorpion rockfish and various invertebrates.

Afternoon – Cousin’s Rock: This dive will be along a beautiful wall and offers great opportunities to see corals, frogfish, seahorses, scorpionfish and octopus. It is also a great dive to see large schools of barracuda and also hammerhead sharks. Sea lions will be your companions while diving in and during the safety stops.

Morning – Afternoon: Wolf Island: Named after the German geologist Theodor Wolf, this extinct volcano has an altitude of 253 m above sea level and is located about 160 km northwest of Isabela Island. Land visits are not allowed, however, the bird life, such as: Red-footed Boobies and Vampire Finches, can be observed from the boat.
The current at Wolf Island is between 1 and 3 knots and you dive at a depth of about 12 to 27 meters.

Wolf is one of those magical islands, with several dive sites to choose from. If you want to see sharks, you are at the right place. Here you can see schools of hammerhead sharks, many Galapagos sharks and occasionally whale sharks. Dolphins, large schools of tuna, spotted eagle rays, barracuda, sea lions and sea turtles are common here. The bottom is littered with hundreds of moray eels, many of which swim freely. Since the water is a few degrees warmer than on the central islands, you can look for many representatives of the underwater fauna of the Indo-Pacific.

Each of the 2 dives you will do in the morning and in the afternoon and as a highlight of the day you will also do a night dive.

Darwin Island.
In the morning and afternoon you will do 2 dives off Darwin Island.

A volcano with a height of 165 m above sea level, was named in honour of the naturalist Charles Darwin. It is one of the smallest islands in the Galapagos archipelago, and as in the case of Wolf Island, no shore visits are allowed.

One of the most famous dive sites is “Darwin’s Arch”, where amazing drift diving is possible along the wall at an average depth of only 9m. Medium to strong currents and the higher water temperatures compared to the other Galapagos Islands bring many hammerhead sharks, blacktip, silky and Galapagos sharks, large schools of dolphins, large schools of skipjack and yellowfin tuna, stingrays, mobula rays and silky sharks. From June to November it is not uncommon to encounter whale sharks several times on a single dive. The occasional tiger shark, black and blue marlins and killer whales add to the amazing diving experience. If you still have time to look for smaller creatures, you will find octopus, flounder and an enormous variety and abundance of tropical fish.

Afternoon – Wolf Island: In the afternoon, head back to Wolf Island for another 2 dives before making the long crossing back to the central islands.

Morning – Cape Douglas: You will surely have amazing opportunities to observe a wide variety of marine life above and below the water at Cape Douglas! As you prepare for your dive, you may see galapagos penguins, galapagos flightless cormorants and galapagos marine iguanas.

Underwater, you are likely to see sea lions, seahorses, sea turtles, horn sharks, Darwin’s batfish, and the occasional hammerhead and whitetip shark. Also look for chevron barracuda, snapper, yellowfin tuna, rainbow mackerel and wahoo. There are also many smaller fish such as groupers, parrotfish, script filefish, boxfish and tiger snake eels.

Afternoon – Vicente Roca Point: This dive takes you along a steep, deep vertical wall covered with soft corals, sponges and endemic black corals. Mola Mola (oceanic sunfish), seahorses, horn sharks, Darwin’s batfish, various shrimp and many other marine invertebrates can be sighted regularly. Keep your eyes open for flightless cormorants flitting by, penguins and maybe even a marine iguana. Our post-dive panga cruise offers great options for photographing penguins, flightless cormorants, marine iguanas, sea lions, blue-footed and Nazca boobies, frigatebirds and noddy terns from above. The diving here is cool (especially below the thermocline – but you shouldn’t miss it!).

Morning – Pinzon: While diving near Isla Pinzon, you will have the opportunity to encounter a variety of shark species, sea lions, manta rays, eagle rays and moray eels. Many species of fish and tropical fish including yellowfin surgeonfish, california angelfish, halterfish, spiny mackerel, snapper, blue striped groundfish, grouper and barracuda.

Afternoon – Highlands: After lunch, disembark the ship to visit the Santa Cruz highlands by a private bus tour. Here you can admire different species of birds such as the small and large tree finches, ground finches, galapagos flycatchers and cattle egrets (often standing on the backs of turtles). As you drive into the island’s protected area, you can see the contrasts of this diverse ecosystem. The path leads from the coast through the agricultural land and directly to the dense wet forests. Often you can see the Galápagos giant tortoises in the middle of the path or walking across the pastures and through the grass. This place is an ornithologist’s paradise because almost all the birds either live on the island or pass through here.

Afterwards, you will continue to San Cristobal Island.

Morning – Gianni Arismendy Interpretation Center (San Cristobal): The Interpretation Centre is located near the capital Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. It was opened in 1998 as part of the Interpretation and Environmental Education Project. Visitors can view exhibits on natural history, human history and conservation in the Galapagos Islands. Conservation efforts represent the movement to protect wildlife and the natural environment through population and tourist control. The Gianni Arismendy Interpretation Center has an outdoor area, audiovisual equipment and meeting rooms.

After this excursion, you will be transferred to San Cristobal airport for your return or onward flight.
